Founded in 1990 by a grassroots group of paddlers, anglers, and passionate river conservationists, They represent all who love the freedom, adventure, and solitude of Idaho’s rivers. For more than three decades, IRU has safeguarded imperiled wild steelhead and salmon, protected water quality, and defended and promoted the Wild and Scenic values of Idaho rivers.
