I just returned from a trip on the Snake River through Hells Canyon and the Soft Tie Tethers from Cascade River Gear worked perfectly. We flipped our raft in Wild Sheep Rapids and it took us about one mile to get the raft to shore. The Sawyer Square Top Oars were secured with Soft Tie Tethers and were still attached to the raft when we got to shore. The clips on the tethers are convenient to use, but more importantly they did not fail while the boat was upside down in Wild Sheep Rapid. Many thanks to Cascade River Gear for another great product.
