This mount has a smart design that allows access to all the fasteners from the bottom. Don’t settle for a seat mount that requires you to remove the seat before removing the mount. This mount allows you to swap seats, or leave the mount with the seat, your choice.
Description
This is a forged aluminum seat mount with clamps and stainless hardware. Comes in two versions for either 1.25” or 1.5” pipe. Please note, the pipe must have an OD of ~1.6” or ~1.9” to clamp properly. This seat mount is compatible with the Better Mounts Luxury Captain’s Seat or many other seats on the market with 7×7.5, 6.5×6.5, 6×6, or 5×5 bolt patterns.
Max torque for the M8 Clamp Screws is 20ft-lbs for dry threads or 12ft-lbs for lubricated threads. Ensure both sides are tightened down evenly and not bottomed out.
