The Maravia Scout is perfect for tight squeezes on multi-day expeditions or install 3 thwarts and it will be your go-to for splashy fun. The diminishing tubes allow for more room in the bow and stern and lower profile in the wind. The 70” long straight section creates a perfect platform for an oversize box and cooler and 2-3 people when rowing. Install up to 3 thwarts and you have a fun paddle rig for up to 7.
*Thwarts sold separately*

Remember growing up going to Cub Scout and it just being fun. That is this raft. FUN! I have run it with an oar frame or as a paddle boat. It just puts a smile on my face. With a couple of paddle strokes you can really get this boat moving. I found that out on the South Fork of the Boise. The sleepers are hard to see. We were running the boat as an R2 and had to make moves that would have been to late in almost any other raft. I could just reach out to the side and pull the raft where I wanted it. One thing that I have noticed is that you really notice when weight is not distributed well. I’m a big guy so when I sit on the back to guide a group, if the boat is back weighted the front end will pop up a lot more in waves. Still make it a lot of fun.
