The Williwaw design is proportioned for performance, cargo capacity and a dry ride.

The Williwaw 1 is 14 feet long with 20″ diameter tubes. Comes standard with attachments for three thwarts. With a rowing frame, the “Willy One” can comfortably carry 2-3 with gear, or will paddle with 2-8 adults.

Owners notes:

– One patch on the bottom of the floor. The patch covers a scuff from a low-water Selway trip. A rock scraped the urethane coating to reveal the base fabric. The base fabric was not breached. The patch protects the urethane. The urethane exposure area is about the size of a 50-cent piece.

– one patch on the starboard side of the floor where the dry box rests on the floor when the raft is loaded. That was to patch a pinhole leak from the abrasion of a crushed beer can that lodged underneath the dry box. The patch fixed the pinhole leak. There is obviously another pinhole leak in the floor somewhere.  Have never brought the boat into shop to check for leaks in the floor.

– the four perimeter tubes are in very good shape, no leaks now, no leaks ever. Valves have performed flawlessly.  Amazing, love your boat designs and materials!!!
