I’ve got the cast-iron by Lodge but these aluminum Dutch ovens are my favorite. I’ve got the 14 inch,the 12 inch, and 10 inch. I have used them for years and love them. I think they cook as well as the cast-iron, or at least well enough that I can’t tell the difference. If you have any doubts, just pick one up. Once you see how much lighter they are, you’ll fall in love too.
